Sterling Personnel, Inc. is recruiting for a Teacher for our client, a childhood development center, located in the Corpus Christi, TX area. This position will be responsible for teaching lesson plans and curriculums and following licensing guidelines.
This is a full time, direct hire position with an expected schedule of Monday – Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to engage and socialize with students and parents, is highly dependable with great multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Teacher Responsibilities:
- Follow curriculum and lesson plans of activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Plan and implement staff development programs.
- Go in rotation to drive a 15-passanger van to transport students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Teacher Requirements:
- 2+ years of Teaching or similar experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Degree in early childhood development preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must have or be willing to obtain CPR, First Aide Certificate and Food Handlers License
- Strong computer skills
