Sterling Personnel, Inc. is recruiting for a Community Connection Director for our client in the Corpus Christi, TX area. The Community Connection Director will report directly to the President/CEO and will be responsible for overseeing interactive curriculum and scheduling programs for schools, along with recruiting, training, and supervising staff and volunteers. This is a full-time, temp to hire position, with hours expected to be Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills along with experience with MS Office, Zoom and Facebook.
Community Connection Director Responsibilities:
- Achieve program goals, output and outcome expectations within the given budget
- Adhere to funding requirements and timelines
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers
- Market special program events
- Coordinate and conduct weekly groups within schools
- Collaborate with the President/CEO
- Maintain accurate and timely records of program activities
- Attend events, fairs, and conferences to meet program goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Community Connection Director Qualifications:
- 2+ years of program implementation and supervision of a youth group program
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
