Sterling Personnel, Inc. is recruiting for a Development Director for our client in the Corpus Christi, TX area. The Development Director will be responsible for the fundraising efforts within the company by cultivating relationships with individuals, corporations, foundations, and organizations. This is a full-time, temp to hire position.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a proactive, self-motivated leader who excels in a team atmosphere.
Development Director Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential donors and sponsors and implement strategies to foster positive relationships regarding financial support
- Work with committees to plan major fundraising events
- Achieve annual fundraising budget
- Secure funding and sponsorships
- Advance the company's initiatives through actively seeking partners
- Create reports post-event to analyze data and determine the marketing effectiveness for the fundraising program
- Meet with President/CEO to gauge business needs and brainstorm ideas for fundraising programs for the coming year
- Coordinate the development and implantation of all marketing and public relations events
- Perform other duties as assigned
Development Director Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Business
- 2+ years of fund development experience
- Proficient with QuickBooks, MS Office programs, and fund development/donor software
- Valid Driver’s License
