Sterling Personnel, Inc. is recruiting for a Fire Shop Helper for our client in the Harrisburg area of Houston, TX.
If you have experience painting, this may be the ideal position for you.
Fire Shop Helper Responsibilities:
- Assists with general inspection
- Delivers equipment to customers or other job sites
- Maintains a clean working environment by sweeping, emptying trash, organizing paperwork, putting tools away, and keeps parts and inventory organized
- Install, maintain, and make repairs
- Repair and replace faulty equipment
- Ensure that safety and quality goals are met
- Perform other duties as assigned
Fire Shop Helper Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. or more, sometimes repeatedly
- TWIC is a plus, but will be required to stay on assignment
- Must have valid driver’s license
- FEL-B license will need to be obtained once on assignment
- Must be able to effectively communicate with vendors, customers, and other employees
