Job Description

Sterling Personnel Inc. is recruiting for a Temporary HR/Recruiting Admin for our client located in the Corpus Christi, TX area. This position will be responsible for hiring, terminations, employee conflicts, record keeping, file maintenance, and data entry. This is a full time position, temporary position lasting about six month. The expected schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

HR/Recruiting Admi Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resource Department to include filing, scanning, faxing, and organizing files.
  • Responsible for material preparation, correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Schedule interviews, book rooms, coordinate schedules, send emails, order food
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure accurate data in the company’s HR information system (HRIS).
  • Assists with employee questions and accurately explains company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
  • Process necessary documentation and compile, review and distribute various HR management reports.
  • Assist in the planning and organization of new hire orientations, onboarding, training, recruiting events, executive meetings, employee related activities, company events and HR initiatives.
  • Work closely and effectively with the Human Resource Manager, keeping him or her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
  • Manages and maintains the Human Resource department schedules, appointments, information and distribution lists, and travel arrangements as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion and good judgment, as well as maintain a high level of confidentiality.
HR/Recruiting Admin Requirements:
  • 3+ years of HR/Recruiting Admin or similar experience 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. 
  • Knowledge of ICIMS and SAP preferred
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
