Sterling Personnel, Inc. is recruiting for an Industrial Technician for our client in Houston, TX. The Industrial Technician will assist with inspections, service, and repairs. The hours for this position are expected to be Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, with an occasional weekend.
Industrial Technician Responsibilities:
- Assists with general inspection
- Travels to various sites as needed to complete jobs
- Delivers equipment to customers or other job sites
- Maintains a clean working environment by sweeping, emptying trash, organizing paperwork, putting tools away, and keeps parts and inventory organized
- Install, maintain, and make repairs to industrial business
- Repair and replace faulty equipment
- Ensure that safety and quality goals are met
- Perform other duties as assigned
Industrial Technician Requirements:
- FEL-B license
- Valid/current driver’s license
- 2+ years of related experience
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. or more, sometimes repeatedly
- Must be able to effectively communicate with vendors, customers, and other employees
