Sterling Personnel, INC. is recruiting for a Manufacturing Process Manager for our client located in the Corpus Christi, TX area. The Manufacturing Process Manager will be responsible for preparing and administrating the executed Manufacturing Agreement to efficiently operate within the facility. This is a full-time position with an expected schedule from Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
The ideal candidate for this position will have effective problem solving, written, and communication skills, is able to work under pressure and demonstrates leadership, teamwork, and time management skills.
Manufacturing Process Manager Responsibilities:
- Work with the Subcommittees to provide input on tactics to complete the Manufacturing Agreement and associated Schedules and identify/prioritize the gaps within the agreement.
- Assist in documenting and governing business activities to be in line with the Manufacturing Agreement and Schedules.
- Collaborate with the planning of shutdowns, utilities, storage, and Logistics needs.
- Assist Logistics with inbound and outbounds calls and collaborate on the negotiation rates, routes, and storage agreements.
- Work with Antitrust and Legal agencies to validate the agreements and requested modification.
- Working capital (raw material, finished products) management per joint venture partners guidelines and to optimize tax liabilities SAP process owner for all the good issues on delivered finished products to the joint venture partners.
- Maintain good housekeeping at the site, and clean worksite.
- Collects the necessary information to be able to trouble shoot problems, identify causes and initiate corrective action.
- Ensure all work is done in accordance with approved working procedures with stringent adherence to 5S program and all production checklists.
Manufacturing Process Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of Logistics in Manufacturing and/or Chemical Facility experience required.
- Previous manufacturing process operation/agreement management experience required
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
- Advanced International Logistics Certificate preferred.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional) certification or other professional purchasing certification preferred.
- Able to work in a high noise level environment, under extreme heat, and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
