Sterling Personnel, Inc. is recruiting for an Office Assistant to assist our client in the Calallen area. The Office Assistant will be handling incoming calls and other communications, managing filing systems, recording information as needed, and greeting clients.
You might be right for this position if you enjoy providing a high level of customer service and working in a small office with minimal supervision.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Accept payments and send notices to customers when payments have not been received
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer
- Ensure office area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities
- Provide general administrative support to the entire office
- Clean out storage units as needed
To be able to perform these duties successfully, candidates should:
- Have at least 1 year of office experience
- Enjoy working in a Customer Service position
- Be able to work two Saturday’s a month
- Have stable work history and good attendance
- Be able to work well with minimal supervision
