Sterling Personnel, Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Accountant Manager for our client in the Galleria area of Houston, TX. The Senior Accountant Manager will handle the management and supervision of the accounting department.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, have great communication skills, and be highly organized.
Senior Accountant Manager Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, administer, and control the agency’s accounting operations
- Review financial statements
- Prepares and analyzes financial statements and reports on variances on a monthly basis
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Review and supervise monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts including bank reconciliations
- Lead the implementation of newly acquired modules and tools to achieve cost savings and efficiencies
- Maintain deep knowledge of team functions and ensure all team members are adequately trained to effectively and efficiently perform their assigned tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Senior Accountant Manger Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 7+ years of experience in Account Management
- Ability to build strong relationships with coworkers and clients
- Computer literate, high level of accuracy and detailed oriented
